Salmon Gravlax Canapés with Mustard Cream

INGREDIENTS

  • Salmon Gravlax
  • 100g sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Thinly sliced bread or crackers
  • Fresh dill sprigs for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Prepare the Mustard Cream:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth.
  2. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Transfer the mustard cream to a piping bag or a small ziplock bag with a corner snipped off for easy piping. Set aside.

 Assemble the Canapés

  1. Slice the Gravlax
  2. Arrange the thinly sliced bread or crackers on a serving platter.
  3. Pipe a small dollop of mustard cream onto each slice of bread or cracker.
  4. Top each canapé with a slice of salmon gravlax.
  5. Garnish each canapé with a sprig of fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
