Warm Prawn Salad

Treat your taste buds to a delightful culinary experience with our Warm Prawn Salad recipe. Succulent prawns, grilled to perfection.  Enjoy the taste of summer with this simple yet sensational dish!


  1. 1 kilogram of  whole green prawns, peeled and deveined
  2. 1 red chili
  3. 2 cloves of garlic
  4. 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  5. Salt and black pepper to taste


  1. 1 red onion
  2. 2 Lebanese cucumbers
  3. 1 red capsicum
  4. 2 punnets of cherry tomatoes
  5. 1 head of lettuce
  6. Extra virgin olive oil
  7. White wine vinegar


  1. Finely dice the garlic and chili, then set them aside.
  2. Chop the red onion, cucumber, capsicum, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce, and mix them together in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and vinegar over the salad, and toss to combine. In a medium-hot frying pan, cook the prawns for 1-2 minutes, then add the diced garlic, chili, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Continue cooking the prawns for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are just cooked, then sprinkle with parsley and mix well.
  5. Add the cooked prawns to the salad and serve alongside crusty bread.
